Gold Champions

Every church needs a church representative, or Gold Champion. Their role is to –

• Be the channel for information from More Than Gold to their church
• Link with other Gold Champions in their area to share ideas, plans and opportunities
• Help plan their church’s own More Than Gold Weekend a year from the Games’ opening

Gold Champions receive their own dedicated eNewsupdate and invitations to special briefings so they are always in touch and can share ideas and information with each other. 

Churches with a Gold Champion can also –

• Take part in all More Than Gold programmes
• Access to all More Than Gold communication resources
• Use the More Than Gold logo on their publications and events
• Access More Than Gold fundraising events to raise money for their church’s own Games-related activities
