70-day Prayer Relay
We want the Olympic Torch Relay to generate a cascade of creative prayer the length and breadth of our land.
That’s the reason for our 70-day Prayer Relay, which tracks the same dates and route as the official Torch Relay. It’s a way for individuals and churches to pray for their communities, the Games and the nations.
It comes under our Time to Shine initiative, based on Isaiah 60:1-5 which tells of God's light shining through us for the good of others.
The Prayer Relay is about Shining as the Flame Travels. For the big picture click here.

Welcoming the Praise Bus
An open top bus with live worship bands will travel in advance of the Olympic Torch across mainland England, Wales and Scotland. It’s a project of a church near to Lands End.
They need churches along the route to offer praise bands, choirs etc to enable continuous praise and worship to take place. Contact them at www.thejourneyfromescalls.co.uk
