Why are volunteers needed?

It is going to take an army of dedicated volunteers if the churches are to seize this once in a lifetime opportunity. And there is something everyone can do – young and not so young, those with specialist skills or those just willing to muck in.

What can volunteers do?

In the lead up to the Games and during them we need part-time and full-time volunteers in our office to help with our conferences and training programmes as –

• Administrators
• Office support
• Data enterers
• Runners and shifters
• And more

During the games we will need volunteers for a wide range of More Than Gold activities – from picking up athlete’s families to serving cups of water.
