Why run a sports quiz?

A pub-style quiz, with questions based on the world’s major sports event, is easy to invite someone to who plays or coaches sport. Or simply supports their team.

People like that are among the friends of those in your church. And this offers the key to a fantastic evening of friendship, fun and meaningful conversation.

More than that, everything you need is available free of charge from Christians in Sport.

How does a sports quiz work?

Running a sports quiz is as easy as tying your shoe laces.

The evening includes –

• A meal – DIY or bring in fish and chips – half way through
• Six quiz rounds with an Olympic theme including trivia, observation and guess who.
• A ten minute talk with a sports theme

Where are the resources?

Christians in Sport offer two ways to make your quiz happen. They can –

• Come and run the whole presentation for you, including the relevant 10 minute evangelistic talk. Or
• Provide everything for a high-tec presentation on one DVD, including an illustrated ten minute talk from former football pro Graham Daniels.
