Invite sports-interested people to your event
Few people are interested in ‘church and religion’. But most have an interest in sport. Some play, others watch, many have their favorite team.

That makes sport a wonderful entry point to the lives of tens of thousands of people, young and not so young. And the build up to the 2012 Games provides a wonderful backdrop.

Ideas include –

• Host a mega Sports Quiz – with all the resources on tap from Christians in Sports
• Hold a Sports Thanksgiving Service – for all the sports clubs and enthusiasts in your area
• Hold a sports tournament for your area with a dinner and guest speaker to follow
