Follow up
The 2012 Games give churches a wonderful opportunity to build bridges with local people and the international community. This should lead to many being open to knowing more regarding the good news about Jesus.
Some will have been impressed by the service and help they have received. Others may have had significant conversations about faith, God and Jesus Christ.
To give people like this the opportunity to know more and take the next step, More Than Gold is working with existing partners to develop enquirers courses with a sports focus. These programmes will be –
- Available locally
- Available, wherever possible, in the home country of overseas visitors
For the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, Alpha played a major role in following up the contacts made
