Festivals training
A full day of training on Community Festivals
Training on How to run a Community Festival is available in 16 towns and cities from February through to April.
Each takes place from 10.30 to 4.30 on Saturdays with registration costing £10.
The festivals training is one of the 13 choices at More Than Gold's Get Set training days to help churches be ready for the 2012 Game. For full details go to link.
What does the training cover?
The extensive contents include -
- How to fine-tune your festival to the needs of your community
- How to plan so nothing gets missed
- Learn skills, hands on, in balloon modeling, face painting, circus and games
- Identify strategies to keep your community engaged beyond the festival itself
- And much more
At each venue the speakers are drawn from:
- Joy da Costa and Andy Frost Share Jesus International
- Marty and Jenny Woods, Dan Evenhuis, Andy Prosser and Claire Bankole Fusion Youth and Community
