Tickets for the red carpet premier of the re-released Chariots of Fire are the prize for churches coming up with the best outreach programme related to the film.

Behind the idea is Nick Pollard of Damaris, the agency specialising in helping make links between faith and contemporary culture. He says, ‘Chariots of Fire offers a perfect opportunity to explore some of life’s biggest issues. And, with the topicality of the Olympics, this could not be a better time’.

The concept is for church members to invite a group to watch the film together after its release on 13th July. Then to use free resources from Damaris to fuel discussion on the film’s powerful themes.

The resources include a leaders guide and clips from the film, which are available at www.damaris.org/chariots-church  The website also includes details of how to win tickets for the premier of the film, based on the plans a church has to use it in their outreach.
